School in eastern part of Minneapolis explosion. One dead, nine injured, one other missing.

Gas explosions... scary stuff. One of the many ways that our technology can turn on us.

The cynical part of me says: " Thats what they cover up the truth with: 'gas explosions'..."
That said; this happened in a building most would expect to be a safe place.

For those of you not familiar with the TC area: this place is located pretty much due east from the Stevens Square/Uptown area of Minneapolis, and is right along the Mississippi (its address is Riverside Drive, after all).
The area is essentially between the river and 35W, south of the I-94 corridor. The area we're more familiar with in the Wapsiverse is on the west side of 35W.
