More Kate news - bad news on the insurance front

Post by AnotherFairportfan »

I feel like a Stalin-era encyclopedia editor.

Kate will NOT be going to the NC home.

Cigna will only fully pay for thirty days of rehab.

And she's already had two weeks here.

So, as it stands, she has two more weeks in the hospital, and then they dump her out to home - to a house that isn't and can't be suitable, where there is no-one to give her needed care on a full-time basis (which she's gonna need fot AT LEAST the foreseeable future.

Lovely.

I like your subject line on this thread over at my board (Stupid insurance company) better, as I can almost hear the unvoiced expletive contained within.

I almost called it "Black-hearted Insurance Company" everywhere - that's what the company Bob Parr (Mr Incredible) is working at is called in the subtitles in Singapore...

{Speaking of which, "Incredibles 2" or whatever it's gonna be is due out either next year or the next, and Brad Bird says it starts exactly where the first film ended.}

Its time to get creative, in terms of 'who's out there providing support, but I had no idea'..

Also, you guys have my long-distance love & lifting-up.

Take a min, look about; people can surprise you, towards the good end too.
