At a couple of political cartoons today (like the one below, which inspired it), i posted something like this:
I’m a vet – Viet Nam, though not combat – and the best way you could have thanked me for my service was to vote Tuesday - and every Election Day.
And i don’t mean “Vote for my candidate” – just bloody well vote.
And the 43% of you out there who DIDN’T vote this time – do not DARE to complain in my hearing about whatever happens in the next four years.
All the soldiers and sailors and airmen in the world cannot save you from your own apathy.
Use it or lose it, people.
Proof Positive the world is not flat: If it were, cats would have pushed everything off the edge by now.
