Well, there is this photo... year and a half old or so.

The nose owie was from running into a bush or chasing a wall, not sure. The scar eventually faded.

That dog is doing an impression of Forest Whitaker.

I believe that's Heroic Dog Pose 12, taking advantage of the aerodynamic lines of the nose when facing into the wind. 8-)

Since this is where we display non-Wapsi imagery, I figure this needs to go here-
I also do 1/6 scale militaria- this is artwork for an M-7 Priest Mobile Artillery Unit. I promoted the 'Grump' to Corporal

As long as you don't get any monetary income of any sort from this, I think you'll be safe from the Disney Lawyer Boogeymen...

...maybe...

This dog is never bored when outside. Being a scent-hound/hunter, her nose is constantly working to discern what's on the wind. We make the same walk every day, and to her it's a new adventure every time.

With this pic, she was looking down the street in the direction my daughter comes from on her way home from work.

Jasper is my daughter's dog, raised from pup, thus the connection. But they both live in my home for the time being, so Jasper has two loyalties. Daughter/Momma for love and dad for discipline, training, and spoiling.

Gang, things are not looking good for the birds. I have not seen any activity this week. They were there last weekend, then nothing for the last few days.

I haven't talked to the neighbor that lives next to the tree with nest, I am wondering if they had seen any evidence of something happening.

Drag.

Blue spoon marks a training grenade- I'll take my chances with the pin... even if it IS live, you got 4.5 seconds to get rid of it

Spring seems to be determined that it will kick out Winter one of these days. Perhaps.

I'm making that face because I had something in my right eye, probably dust blown up into my face by the report. I was wanting to avoid blood getting into my eye, and also from dripping onto my clothes, which is why I was leaning forward.

A bit of advice: If you ever have a bad feeling about squeezing the trigger, then DON'T SQUEEZE THE TRIGGER! The details about how it happened and why are in More Stuff.

Also, my shirt says "Anything you can do, I can do drunker." Though, no alcohol was involved, it kind of makes it funnier.

Edit: See that thing partially obscured by my earmuffs? Way off in the distance? That's where the target was hanging.

Yup! I started laughing right after it happened, too, which explains the partial grin. I'm glad I wasn't wearing my glasses, as they'd have been broken, and I'd have wound up with more than just a small cut next to my eyebrow.

Crazy thing, just above the blood smear is an old scar almost the same shape. But that was from smacking my head on some furniture when I was three. That was apparently the first time I got stitches.

I have a similar scar over my right eye- sighting in a customer rifle from a low bench which made me shove my head too far forward. It's a rather common occurrence, but with intelligent people it only happens once...
