Dallas Wapsi fans! Anyone for a 2nd *Unofficial* DFW Wapsicon?

I'm going to be in the area October 29 to see the Wings Over Dallas airshow. Or at least that's the plan for that weekend so far. A Friday evening or Saturday evening gathering would work for me.

What say?

One of these day Jabberwonky and I are going to slap together a First Semi-reasonably-sortof-Official Houston Area WapsiCon. Just a little closer than DFW.

I'd be down for another get together...but I've been so scarce in the forums that you guys would probably have to contact me via Facebook to make sure I didn't miss out on the details.

PM's still send you email notifications, right?

I would be there for sure but they still have us working 6 days a week and I don't have any more time to take off so I could only meet up on a Sunday.

edit: I keep forgetting we can request a Saturday off but said request needs to be submitted a minimum of 16 days in advance which is likely but not guaranteed to be granted. I can maybe attend if the date is known far enough in advance.

Well, the next time I'm back that way...

While in Seattle area last month, went to Everett for a look at Paul Allen's collection. Amazing what a few sheets of new aluminum, a ball peen hammer, and fresh coat of paint will do for an aircraft that was lost in a forest or pulled out of a lake.

And concerning the 2nd DFW meet, I'm waving it off.

ShadowITL is stuck at work, Julie is game for a meet, but with just the two of us it might be a short one unless we go to a place with lots of differn't beers on tap and both have to call a cab later.

Perhaps we will negotiate a springtime gathering.
