Dr ALice G Weber, 31 July 1923 - 19 August 2012

Post by Fairportfan »

I was going to run down to Milner to see Mom today - in fact, i was supposed to be leaving just about now.

No need, now.

Jim just called and said she went quietly in her sleep a few hours ago.

Eighty-nine years is a pretty good run, but she was very tired these last few years and ready to go.

Jim said she had a good day yesterday, watching a video about the Impressionists with Sally

Don't know about funeral arrangements yet, obviously. DO know she'll be laid to rest beside her parents in Milner.

Jim hopes he can keep the dogtrot house.

Haven't cried yet. I will, just not yet.

Fairport -

You have my deepest sympathies and I'm sending you good thoughts through the ether.

Don't wait too long to cry, trust me with some hard earned experience.

Just take good care of yourself and the others you love. Do not try to force the crying, it will come in it's own good time. God-bless you and yours.

My condolences. May you fare well, and may time erase all but the good memories. Glad to hear she was around for a nice long time.

So sorry for your loss. Losing a parent is an awful life-changing event that I wish nobody had to go through. It doesn't matter the age, it is always too soon.
Make the wrong things difficult, and the right things easy. Notice the smallest change and the slightest try and reward him.
