Different car, different tree, but this made me immediately think of the 1971 French comedy "Sur un Arbre Perché", with Louis de Funès...
I remember seeing it, but I really can't remember anything else about it, except that it was funny... (as are most of Louis de Funès' movies...)

funnily enough, two hours ago I drove past a bunch of Magpie Geese that had decided to roost in the tops of some mango trees 
Even saw one landing, so I slowed down to get a real good look and yes, it was a goose.
I can remember years ago, in the middle of a long and very wet wet season, I drove past two Magpie Geese standing on top of a fence rail while all around them was under water.
Still, it's a very weird thing to see geese in the tops of trees

Well! If that parking valet thinks he'll be getting a tip, he is sadly mistaken.

......okay. I'm not really sure why you felt the need to explain that to me, I am aware that no parking valets were actually involved.

OK, I'll admit my joke was awful but I don't believe it was so awful it needs to be mocked in this manner.

This gag was used again later in a film called 'the Big Hit' with Mark Wahlberg (Marky Mark!), China Chow, Lou Diamond Phillips, Christina Applegate, Bokeem Woodbine, Antonio Sabato, Jr., Avery Brooks, Elliott Gould and a cast of thousands.
I cant seem to Google up a corresponding picture as of yet...
