The person who is himself bigoted does not offend me nearly as much as the person who says I am bigoted simply because I disagree with him, and that person in turn is less offensive than the one who demands that I should be bigoted.

Stupid is unable to learn, bigotry is refusal to learn. Everybody is ignorant about something. It's how we start life. The more you're willing to learn, and the more you're able to learn, the more the world opens up for you. Bigots don't want their world to change.

The hard part about bigotry is finding a new excuse every day for why the world doesn't meet their expectations.

Stupidity is refusal to learn. Bigotry may be a cause of that.

I think you may slightly misunderstand where I was coming from.

Bigotry is born in ignorance. To accept the tenants of bigotry in the first place, you have to be ignorant of the many things that make it illogical in the first place.

Bigotry is bred by insecurity, and fed by fear. These are what causes the bigot to refuse to educate themselves. Bigots refuse to learn because they are afraid that the truth might lessen themselves, or prove that they are, in fact, an idiot. This fear is the drive behind their refusal to learn.

I think we've got enough examples of tyrants using this, let's not go there right now.

I dropped off my car yesterday, and they're gonna try pulling out the trunk today. I should be able to get my car back Thursday or Friday morning.

The rental they put me in, however, is a black '16 Rogue. My parents have a black '15 Rogue, although it's a fancier version. It doesn't feel right driving any car other than my own. No matter how I adjust the seat and steering wheel, it just doesn't feel right.

It's going to be a long week.

Your trunk was stuck in your car, and you needed help to pull it out? :P

Not that kind of trunk, dude.

The good news is that getting the trunk out of Alkarii's car will only cost peanuts.

They even list Economy, Standard and Premium Barn Owl Pellets for sale... Do those come from lower, middle and upper class owls, respectively?

The "Car Talk" guys were once absolutely fascinated that people who own off-road vehicles but don't ... uhhh ... participate ... could buy "Spray-On Mud" in different colours and textures.

Oh, man, those Cah Tahlk guys are a hoot. They had one episode about some woman's gas-engine car that was "diesel-ing"

Basically, when she turned it off, it would sometimes run backward for a stroke. Apparently, this is a BAD THING that could eventually end up sending a piston up and out of the engine, through the hood with a spectacular explosion and display of sparks, and might set the whole thing on fiah-*ahem* fire...

Maybe I'm mixing my episodes and car disasters...

The really funny ones are when they are absolutely stumped. Or at least, momentarily stumped.

Were. They ended the program when the elder (i can never remember which is Ray and which is Tom) began developing dementia, and he died a while back.

Why encourage what appears to be a "We post web-forum spam for hire" parasite?
