Those must be comfy cushions for her to still be laying on them.

Now all we need is for Daniel and Sha'uri to show up... ;)

Atsali is trying to look all non-chalant about continuing her face time with the twins... right up until the point Auntie Katherine gives her the dreaded smooshy face!!!

Atsali: Do you um... have to use your hands to do this? LOL

Actually, it appears that Kath is in the act of sitting up, pushing Atsali up with her... Still, Atsali doesn't seem fond of moving away too quickly.

Wait... Kath knows the start point... how does she know where she ended up?

Okay... now, can someone explain how either of these ancient civilizations came to set their Prime Meridian through the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, in order for current-day geocoding to work?

Followed by John Crichton and Aeryn Sun, I mean Cam Mitchell and Vala Mal Doran?

Hehe, I went to the Palenque ruins while visiting family in south Mexico. Tripping over bricks still mostly covered by dirt I know for a fact there is more there than what you can see. I remember running up and down the stairs of all the pyramids while wearing a dark t-shirt and blue jeans with no problem and running into an American tourist couple who were dying from the heat.

Kath: I don't think we're in Minnesota anymore Toto... LOL

Clarified, it makes sense too... i was stuck on them 'entering' the portal in Mesa Verde... so I thought that was the entry point. Nice stargate... no clunky rings spinning nor water shooting out at you... but I'm sure that would be preferrable to crashing and exploding helicopters!

Those were the numbers Kath came up with translating from star angle maps in the alcove.

I got thinking about the possibility of the math being relative to the Mesa Verde origin and Kath extrapolating the destination, but even that is dependent on the knowledge of a round Earth. An astronomic solution is much more tidy. Thanks!

Only in a comic could they survive a fall of that magnitude. The people who built the receiver should have put a backstop in it in case some bird girl on the wing happens to enter the transmitter end at pa-ting speed, pushing her companion out the other end with her momentum. Also, lucky the tourists aren't around.

Yeah, she established a link. Too bad she can never publish it. I guess her only reference for the transporter device is the word "Stargate." Doesn't mean it is a stargate. It may just be a poiting thingy for one place to another on earth only. We didn't see her dial anything up so this one may be limited to these two places, making it a "basic" portal. Must also be one-way since surely someone would have placed their hand in the start hand-shaped indentation by now, if there is one.

The way Kathy looks in the last panel makes me wonder. Someone told Tina, I think Phix, that another set of demons had managed to become a single entity. Could it be Kathy? She's slowly been changing her appearance through this arc and we've been thinking it is related to the spider woman. What if it isn't?
Ambush questions are fun. Watching the mental impact of them as they distort, or crumble, opinions based on faulty logic.

Notice that Katherine is almost exactly due south of Minneapolis. Hmm.

The other demon fusion was Shelly's companion (AKA Creepy Girl or Connie)

Allowing for art evolution, Katherine looks very much like she did in her first appearance. Did you have something in particular in mind?

Stupid maps.Google trick...
Load the Palenque Ruins map, click [Get Directions] and type "min" in the A field. Click suggested "Mineápolis, MN". As Wyvern said, bearing from home to Palenque looks close to 175°. Route south is quoted in miles. Swap A/B to measure the northbound trip, route is quoted in kilometers.

Two observations:

A) A-yuh.. Someone's Got A Crush.

and

B) Katherine is Enjoying this; quite possibly Having Too Much Fun.
