I foresee interesting results when Rosslyn meets some of the other Fearless Ghost Hunters.

There seem to be at least two canon mechanisms for creating "ghosts" in Wapsiland - cross-parallel-universe leakages (mediated by the Grid Anchor system) and time loops. Maybe "stone tape" recordings too, although I don't think we've actually seen those demonstrated.

"There ain't no such thing" may be too simple an explanation.
