Friend of mine - a top stage technician who often helped corporations create presentations for trade shows (his story about having to create a shipping crate that "... looked more like a shipping crate than a real shipping crate ..." for an IBM product introduction was priceless) had a button that said "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from a rigged demo."
