Oh, man... an N-party manipulation is in progress. Can you say "setup"? Sure you can.

And, let's play through the setup and its consequences while we're in the middle of a potentially-risky exploration of the unknown, just so we can see whether (as Bud's research suggested) we can manage to get a couple of our friends leyed.

I'd be critical, but I'm quite sure that I was just as much of an idjit at that age, just in different ways.

I suppose it's comforting, thought... if the situation does turn into a Chernobyl-level meltdown, at least there will be plenty of instigators to share the guilt.

You girls are so busy trying to evaluate Mindy's reaction to this situation that you're overlooking one critical detail: Hiroshi is a big dummy who is utterly blind to emotions.

Miss Nock is being waaaayyyy too scientific about this. Is her great-grandfather Hephaestus or something?

She does appear to have pointed ears (but so do many in the strip so that may just be artistic preference). Can't really evaluate skin color since Paul doesn't do the daily strips in color.

So, I'd say that your hypothesis is logical, but unproven.

Your answer is illogical

Fasten your seat belts and keep hands and arms inside the ride at all times. It may get a little wild

My deity of choice was rather bereft of social graces (having your leg nearly removed and left crippled from getting tossed out of Olympus as an infant can color your views a scoshe. But as his adult values were to make things that could help people there is some debate on his views of humanity outside of Olympian gods.

Some things are left unshaken for a reason. If fulminate of mercury is shock-sensitive, what about fulminating Aphrodite descendant?

And I do hope that Barbara at least got Nudge's permission before using her to prod Mindy. That would be rude otherwise.
