Yea from what i have seen schools like to have both faculty and parental type chaperones.

My guess is that as soon as word got out about the Paranormal Club's field trip, everyone else suddenly made themselves unavailable.

Could also be "Well, you dealt with it last time, so you get the job again this time."

I think the same way Valerie does... I was not expecting this.
