I am starting to wonder if both sides have blackthorn instead of just one

She's fairy, right? She might have similar insights as a fae, which would put her on par with Cass.

Okay but is anyone else just sitting here going "Oh my god oh my god oh my god" and shipping the hell out of these two right now? Cause it's literally not something I ever even considered but after only 3 pages I want it so badly. <3

Seems to me that Castela might need/want/benefit-by a good, strong, honest friendship-type relationship, more than another romantic entanglement. These aren't mutually exclusive, of course, but having both at once takes a level of emotional maturity that I'm not sure either of these two has reached yet (and the question of Hiroshi and their feelings towards him is a huge complicating factor).

Besides, I'm not sure whether it's possible to graft Blackthorn branches to Pixie sticks. (And I won't use the word "treesome" at all for fear of causing nosebleeds and outrage.)

Well like, maybe it might not start out romantic, but I just can't help but feel like there's something there.

And don't forget, we got another time jump since the last Hiroshi scene. Last we saw Shawna was attempting to figure stuff out, maybe in the end she figured it wouldn't work. Who knows. Gotta wait and find out.

EDIT: Plus I mean, it would be in following the trend Wapsi Square has picked up for it's main leads which I love so much where they start out with or interested in a guy, only to end up with a woman.

I mean Monica of course had Kevin, now she's with Jet, Atsali was into that whats his name Nadette helped her ask out, now she's with Nadette. Or at least I assume they're still together. And most recently Castela was crushing hard on Hiroshi.

But if you look back on the twenty or so comics that have been centered on her since this latest time jump, Castela hasn't thought or talking about Hiroshi even once, so she may not even be into him anymore. I mean sure it's a bit to soon to know for sure if that's the case, but before the time jump you couldn't go two Castela centered pages without at least one mention of him.

Also I would love to see this go the Korrasami route and if Hiroshi is even still in the comic one day, maybe years from now if they do happen, see his reaction to the fact that the two girls who were basically fighting over him are now a couple, hehe. <3
