Actually, I had it end with Phix's little "how f'ed up is that?" declaration. Time has been moving slowly in Wapsi Square.

Thank you. You might also want to update the links in the first post, so that people don't have to come all the way to this page to get the right links...

Meanwhile, I think I'm going to save a local copy, in case something happens with the links again... I'll just replace it each time an updated version is made.

I updated the FP to reflect that it is now an "Omnibus" version. The version at $cribd is just the Cast of Characters.

I downloaded the latest version for off-line reading when I'm someplace with no Internet access, like on the bus.

MON U MENTAL! That's amazing! Any chance of a version which breaks it down by comic by comic? I know someone started one once. Found it on Wayback. Something like that would make it relatively easy to make a database that can be used to look up what what was said when. All the makings for such a version are in this one, it would just have to have insertions at appropriate points with markers. Maybe something that, when hovered over, would popup the comic title and date? If not possible, then a separate version (Yeah, I know, just what you need, maintaining yet another version).

Hey, the boss just grabbed it because I did such a bang-up job with the characters list. I'm not gonna go back through now-13 years worth of archives and transcribe it all.

And why not? Haven't you heard that anything worth doing is worth doing right? So go finish that job! :P

The Latest Edition of the Omnibus should be available for all at the link on the main website.

As I have been trying to get this done on a monthly basis, I have updated the Omnibus on Google Drive - all three versions:

The Complete Guide
E-book (5.5" x 8.5" format)
Condensed (no picture) version

EDIT - By the way: A new character was added to the cast list, whether or not we actually "see" him in the future.

I have updated the Omnibus through this past week's... um, interesting... strips.

I have not, however, added Kevin's sister to the "cast list".

Is Callista in the update somewhere? Couldn't find it, but did find Gryphon School.

List is compiled using full names: see Foxglove, Princess Calista.

I do need to do a full update of the Omnibus at some point. Some of the entries are a bit out of date - though I like Jacob's entry.

I’ve made the same sort of mistake — took me an age to spot Lakshmi (Prasad, Lakshmi).

Maybe a formatting tweak, perhaps bolding the entry name and outdenting it rather than bullet pointing, would make at-a-glance searching easier?

I try to list by last name, though in some cases it's a bit difficult (see "Farmer, Egyptian").

I'd go by the name they are most called by in comic. IE it would be "Bud" and "Lakshmi" with either a redirect to, or a "See: Acacia Budur" type of entry, i know that "I" never would have found "Prasad, Lackshmi", heck i never even knew she was GIVEN a last name in-comic!.

Well, of course you wouldn't have found "Lackshimi"... ;)

I'm in the process of doing some updates.

no, i'm saying i never would have found "Prasad"... i don't think her last name was EVER mentioned on-screen, in the comic. therefore i would never have known to LOOK for it in the first place... that's why you should sort them by the name they go by most in the comic... for example: Bud, instead of "Acacia" or "Budur" even though those are CORRECT, nobody really has that jump out at them when you're searching... that's all i meant.
