Viewing it again, it looks like Lilly was prepared to shoot Suzi if she didn't let him go. Of course, she then saw it was a bit late for that helping the situation. It probably wouldn't have done anything than temporary good since Suzi would quickly recover, I guess. What it makes me wonder though is, was Lilly in fear for her own life/flesh as well at that moment? Like when Phix went feral, it was best not to get too close or you could end up as a condiment. Likewise, once Suzi goes feral it may be tough for her to stop. She may look at Lilly and think, "dessert!"

Actually, I think it might not be the guy they're after. The throwdown must have been epic, though.

Something's not quite saying Over-The-Top Villain Dispatch to me. While trying not to overthink the panels here, I get a flash not of "Man Holding Girls Hostage", but "One Of The Hostage Girls Isn't Really A Hostage."MerchManDan wrote:OK, I'll bite*: Why do you think McBride has the wrong man, kingklash?

Now, would that be his (favorite movie) trope, or his favorite (movie trope)?

The FBI have entered the Wapsi story before:Dr. Otter wrote:We know MIB agents have been known to claim they are from the FBI as a cover:Jürgen A. Erhard wrote:She calls out "FBI", but we don't know if they actually are FBI.
Maybe the MiB are a secret department of the FBI; hiding inside the FBI, so "officially" they can run around as FBI, but they're actually MiB?Beatrice: You here to make fun of me too?
Kay: No, ma'am. We at the FBI do not have a sense of humor we're aware of. May we come in?
