Is this our Daylla or Daylla 2?

Did Daylla just get shifted in time?

I think this is our Daylla . . . I don't think there's a time-shift.

However, there does seem to be an incoming theory shift . . .

We should have known, actually: it's much too soon for resolution.

Daylla appears to be stuck in someone's Sliders fanfiction.

Is this the same DUstin?

His remarks to s "Professor" would seem to point to "No".

Let's see. She still seems to be wearing a hoodie, and what she says matches last episode, so I think this is Daylla-1. Although after Shelly-1 in the Time Forest, it's not wise to trust assumptions. But her knees are skinned, and is her left arm bleeding? That must have been SOME landing!

And what happened? Why is that Dustin and not Timothy? Something went wrong.

He might be using 'Professor' sarcastically. She was, after all, pontificating and telling him what to do as she expounded a vague theory. And he's probably not comfortable calling her 'Daylla' when she's made clear she's not his version.

I’m so gorram confused it hurts.

I hate paradoxes. They’re like matrices. And riddles. I don’t have the mind for them.

Well, this is A Daylla but is it The Daylla? Was she ejected from the World Grid Anchor or dumped back to solid from the hallway?

ETA: Well after re-reading and considering it is my considered opinion that this is the one that was trapped in the anchor, as she sees to have no knowledge of what Dustin is talking about.

It's Daylla-Prime. Notice she still doesn't have her cell phone.

How she ended up on the other side of the school, however...

I have a sneaky suspicion as to what happened.

Daylla is in an "alternate world" where the anchor does the reverse of what it would in WapsiVersePrime. It keeps the gods "in" instead of "out"

And she just got bounced off the anchor point.

Probably even worse than Daylla appearing in a wall would be multiple Dayllas (or even all the Dayllas) trying to occupy the same space in the same universe simultaneously.

Or Daylla 3, who we saw stuck in the beam? And which universe is each panel of the comic in?

At least she didn't come back made out of marshmallow, or as a 310-pound Twinkie.

And, in the first panel, are we seeing two different images of the same Daylla (one as she flies in through the wall, and a second after she solidifies)? Or, are we seeing Daylla-1 (still in ghost-form) and Daylla-2 or -3 (having been expelled from stasis in the beam)?

Hmmm. We speak of a flock of birds, a pod of whales, a pack of wolves, a murder of crows. What's the correct technical term for a grouping of Dayllas?

How about a wreck? Because she just about came in like a wrecking ball, and with more class than Miley Cyrus did. (Seriously, what the hell happened with Miley? Did she eat a tide pod?)

As far as I can figure it out, given what information we have so far:

There are multiple universes, each of which has its own independent timeline. They all have the world grid anchor linking them somehow. There are three universes involved in the current story arc, and each universe has its own slightly different version of Daylla who goes about doing whatever Dayllaish things that particular Daylla does when a Daylla is doing things.

Universe 1 is the one that we've been (mostly) following since 2001 up until March 26th, and the Daylla from that universe is the one whose antics we've been seeing since 2013.

Two months ago, Daylla-2 went to investigate weird things that were going on in Universe-2's version of Gryphon school. She got tangled up in the grid anchor, and it apparently pulled her out of U-2. We don't know where she ended up; she's probably not in U-1, since (assuming the timelines in different universes are in synch) then there would have been a pair of Dayllas running around U-1 for a couple of months, and you'd think that that would be noticeable. But she could be stuck in U-3, or U-235, or floating in some intercosmic void, or be lurking in your closet and sneaking out at nights to raid your kitchen. Maybe we'll find out, as more story comes along.

At some undetermined time in U-3, Daylla-3 also started messing around with her aspect of the grid anchor. She ended up getting knocked into U-2, where we got to see her suspended in the anchor beam with her phone.

Meanwhile in U-1, Daylla-1 was going about getting the ghost-hunting club started up and having the sleepover at the school. During the sleepover, she somehow got caught up in the anchor for unknown reasons and ended up getting moved over to U-2.

From March 26th onward the setting's apparently been U-2, and we're assuming that the Daylla we've been watching run around up through April 16th's comic was Daylla-1, with a brief appearance of Daylla-3 stuck in the beam. It is possible that we've switched over at some point and have been following some other Daylla, but there's not been anything in particular to say whether that is so or not.

So as of April 16th, Daylla-1 and Daylla-3 were both in Universe-2, Daylla-2 was MIA, and Daylla-1 was getting Dustin in Universe-2 to call Daylla-2's (and maybe every other Daylla's) phone to make it ring/vibrate and cause a “resonance cascade”, which would. . .fix things, maybe.

And now it's April 17th, and things are happening in the comic, but we don't have enough information to know which Daylla is doing what where when why how. Maybe it's all fixed now, and the last two panels of the comic show Daylla-2 back in U-2. Maybe something went wrong, and Daylla-1 is still stuck in U-2, or has ended up in U-3 or some other universe. Maybe all Dayllas have somehow melded into the UltraDaylla, a multiverse-spanning being of unspeakable power. Stay tuned, and find out!

I would venture to say that it's the same one (whichever one it happens to be), who starts off transparent and going through a wall, then solidifies as she nears the landing. My reason for believing so is that the speech balloons are connected. While it could be that two people saying the same thing would have speech arrows going to the same speech balloon, in this case the median speech arrow indicates a follow through: as in, transparent Daylla cries out with the first balloon, the median speech arrow means if we follow, we'll see what she says - or cries out - next, which is connected to the solidifying and about to land Daylla, who is also identified by the speech balloon, meaning she is the one who continued crying out.

That's the way I see it, at least.

Personally, I still don't see why there need be a Daylla-3 involved.

That issue was raised by Daylla-1. She said that the World Grid anchors had no effect on matter from within their own universe (presumably this was one of the factoids she picked up in her school class which discussed the Grid).

This led her to believe that the Daylla who she saw time-locked in the Grid anchor must not have been the Daylla from Dustin's universe, but must have come from a third universe.

She may or may not be correct in her belief. It could be that whatever may have made the Grid anchor go wonky in the first place, may have caused it to lose its normal ability to not-interfere with matter native to its universe.
