PS- the originating film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breakin was the first time Ice-T was in a feature film (having been a part of the documentary that spawned the film franchise...)

QUOTE = The soundtrack of the film was released by Polydor Records in 1984.[9] The album contains the first performance on an album of rapper Ice-T produced by DJ Chris "The Glove" Taylor & David Storrs.[10] (He had released some 12" singles previously.)

Dude is currently runn'n game on NBC's Law & Order: SVU. Thirty something years later...

30 years ago. Imagine if, 30 years ago, someone said to you that Dr. Dre would be known for selling computer accessories, Ice-Cube for family comedies, and both Ice-T and Cheech would play TV cops on competing networks. Oh, and that everyone forgot about Easy-E.
