Hmmm . . . is it an actual transformation, or does the 100-year-old item "spawn" a tsukumogami (sp?) as a separate entity, then start building "charge" for another? If the latter, Ruri's teapot could be sitting on a shelf somewhere.
And after reading the Wikipedia entry on tsukumogami, I wonder if the classic tsukumogami is the result of susuharai, and Ruri is the real deal . . . what a tsukumogami should become, but usually doesn't.
