I'd make a honeysuckle joke about now, but there's no way it could possibly in good taste.

Yeah, bee-have yourself. [And this coming from a guy who has a humanoid bee for an avatar.]

Poor Scar gonna have her hands full protecting Pickle from her friends, never mind anything else.

Hence the big flower so fast. She doesn't have to imagine it, just relive it.

Well, that's a change. Just one flower instead of a bouquet. But instead of a head full of flowers we get a flower head.

Dayla is STILL having Too Much Fun.
He had done a good job of covering his tracks, but that was to be expected. After all, one does not conspire to ruin a House and murder a queen and then just stand there waving and waiting patiently for retribution.

I was actually thinking along those lines.

Hmmm. I was just rereading Marion Harmon's "Capes" books, and one of them got me thinking...

Scarlet is a fox. Yeah, we've seen her in her aspect in some of Paul's pinup art at least.

But what if she's a fox spirit - a kitsune?

"I'm just about protecting my friends - even if it's from themselves from time to time."

Kitsune are protector spirits - in some stories they attach themselves to specific families or villages...

How many tails does Scarlet really have?

She isn't old enough to have more than one tail at this point.

Also, Timmy better be glad she isn't a kumiho, which superficially resembles a kitsune, except it's Korean, and not exactly a pleasant creature.
Does it ever occur to anyone else that maybe funhouses would not be a good place to live?

Okay - how many tails does her MOTHER have?

She has that book her own mother gave her - it's probably got a lot of tales in it...
