And a Happy New Year to one and all, as well!

(I thought it was Jin at first. But no, it's the little teapot, short, not stout, and quite flexible. I wonder if she paints her nails or if, hand and foot, they're naturally that color.)

Fragile spirit, once was clay...
Favorite color? Who can say?

Might this be residual glaze,
from her early teapot days?

Simply trying to glaze over that, are you? I think the populace will be thoroughly fired by it.

Deposits an envelope of cannabis tea in the Pun Jar...gives all new meaning to the term teapot, eh?

Dave, I've explained this before. One consumes tea FROM the China, Not WITH the China.

Far too crunchy. A proper biscuit is crumbly.

Top value for that reference.

It's too bad that S&H never made it to the age of the internet. They could have been so much fun to collect, especially if you used digital payments or QR codes.

*siiiigh*

My inability to catch references to old and often not-so-old stuff has become a forum in-joke. I don't know how to feel about this.

Have no worries! It’s just a bunch of old(er) guys having a fleeting “hurrah” with trivial knowledge that earns kudos amongst their peers. I must include myself- with a mention of “flowerdy towels” that were included in boxes of laundry detergent. I think it was Dolly Parton and Porter Waggoner that schilled that stuff.

I don’t think my folks ever saved enough of those miserable trading stamps to get anything!

Somehow, the idea of giving out radioactive tableware as a promotional gimmick seems like a quintessentially American sort of thing.

I paid 19 cents a gallon during a gas war. I have used a candlestick phone with no dial- you clicked the earpiece holder twice and the operator came on. Then you made your request-and it was an extra 50 cents if you went 'out of district' and had to use an outside operator. I have driven a steam locomotive with passengers. I have shaved others with a straight-edge razor. I was home sick from 3rd grade when my Mother came home from shopping, telling me "They've just shot the President!" and we watched the report from Dallas about JFK's assassination. I suspect I was among the last students to learn the use of a slide rule. I professionally ran a 'wet-plate' photography business.

I understand the correct method to preform the "Marine Waltz" with a Thompson Sub-machinegun. My skills with the M-1 Garand are documented by the US Army.

I am clearly in the wrong century.
