Does Doubt get to give other people nose flicks as she tries to explain things?

If I recall correctly, all Doubt demons can use nose flicks now, but I don't remember Doubt saying that the "you may only hurt or interfere with the human to which you are assigned" non-interference rule had been changed.

We do know that a single demon can be associated with more than one human, so it's possible that Monica's Doubt might also be Luci's (and thus be able to nose-flick her) but Doubt's words here lead me to doubt that this is the case. (Sorry, that phrasing was kinda inevitable under the circumstances.)

Kind of makes me wonder what Luci's been through to get excited about meeting real demons. Unless, of course, she doesn't quite grasp that these aren't people who are pretending to be demons.

THAT'S beautiful, to Luci?? Holy cats. :shock:

Suddenly I am very curious to see what Luci's Doubt looks like.

Also, I've revising my opinion that Luci is taking this brave new world well. I think it's more that she isn't grasping what she 's seeing is real.

Luci's going to fit in just fine with the Wapsi paranormal crew!

It seems to me more likely that she has been exposed to and made peace with her own demons for so long seeing others isnt rattling her. Now she may not have know she was seeing her own demons just assumed it was nightmares.

Based on her uncertainty with regard to working with Castela, i'd say her Doubt is still active...

I almost wonder if Luci reported seeing demons, and was sent to a mental institution . . .

That thing about juvie and "teenager with a knife" sounds as if she was a tad dangerous to know.

========================

Over at "Strong Female Protagonist", we're currently seeing the memories, from when he was eight or ten, of a telepath - one of the first "breakthroughs" (to use a term from Marion Harmon's "Capes" books) ... which include electroshock "therapy" and other wonderful things.

The latest comic is particularly upsetting. And the previous one was bad, but not AS bad. {The thing to understand is that Alison - the blonde, the "Strong Female Protagonist" - is inside the adult Patrick's mind, trying to keep him from going completely insane. The boy is one aspect of Patrick's personality, which is fragmented.}

Hmm, reading the phrase 'Strong Female Protagonist' here, I then came across this;

Cannes: Noomi Rapace to Headline WestEnd Films Action Thriller ‘Close’
“Close” sees the BAFTA-nominated Swedish actress play a female bodyguard and counter-terrorist expert who is assigned the job of protecting a rich young heiress in Bangkok. More used to war zones, she is ill-prepared for a VIP babysitting job for a privileged kid who’s not keen on the arrangement either. But when a violent attempted kidnapping forces the pair to go on the run, accused of murder themselves, they must find a way to work together to hunt down the attackers and their corrupt employers.

In visualizing and developing the action, Jewson used the real-life insights and experiences of Jacquieline Davis, one of the world’s leading female bodyguards, whose clients have included J.K. Rowling and Liza Minnelli. Davis will serve as a consultant on the film.

It could also be that Luci believes doubt to be a positive thing, so Doubt probably has a completely different appearance depending on who's looking at her. To us, Monica's Doubt has always looked this way, because of how Monica saw doubt.

That, or maybe Luci is actually terrified, and her current behavior is actually a defense mechanism. Although, Tina would probably have spotted that already, right?
