I realise that the clues are very easy to overlook, but if you pay very close attention to the nuances of her body-language then you can get a glimmer of her feelings.

Plenty of thirteen-year-olds go for more than just a kiss.

Also, remember that she's not just a hybrid of plant and animal, she's also a hybrid of teenager and thousands-of-years-ager. Who knows which side is showing through at any given moment?

She is about 13 going on 300. We have seen her react anywhere between young teen and mature sage. To answer your second question yes some of them do. Not much has changed since we were all kids in that respect. The young gentleman is acting with a lot more self control than i would have had i been that age in that situation.
