And, to combine those two topics in a single strip, we must refer back to the words of the immyrtle Tom Lehrer:

Plagiarize
Let no one else's work evade your eyes
Remember why the good Lord made your eyes
So don't shade your eyes
But plagiarize, plagiarize, plagiarize
Only be sure always to call it please "research"

It's only trespassing if you don't have permission.

Maybe they should bring Aunt M and Aunt Shelly as backup, just in case

It can be trespassing even if you do have permission!

Consider Castela. She's fundamentally a tangle of vines. Her "hair" is a combination of artful vine-shaping, and glamour. She's encouraged and permitted (and actually required) to simulate a head of human hair every time she goes out in public - but it's still a skillful fake-out.

So, tress-passing is what she does every day!

For a moment there, I thought that was Digit, not Daylla.

Aside: I should ask Pablo directly if it's "Dayla" or "Daylla'. I've seen him use both.

Dave, do you happen to know a guy named Ryan over on the Wilde Life comments?
He's mister GlytchMeister, he's mister code
He's mister exploiter, he's mister ones and zeros
They call me GlytchMeister, whatever I touch
Starts to glitch in my clutch!
I'm too much!

Nope - I don't think I've ever been over on that set of pages.

He rose to the occasion . . . as many here can.

I wonder if any of them expected to get approval?

The latter. Unfortunately. I think he's as bad as you. The creatir of the comic herself has gotten exasperated with him:
Pascalle 'Paz' Lepas... and pretty much everyone else over there wrote:God damnit, Ryan.
