I'd say 'Dette's reaction is most apropos.... actions speak louder than words.

I think those two are safe from Astali's concerns... they're both very much appreciating having one another.

Dette looks very happy to hear that from Atsali.

Still unknown how the relationship will endure the succubus roomie.

Yup. We'll no longer have to wonder whether tonsil cleaning is available on Monday evenings.

Hey now. "You are mom let me in her way out" is a perfectly cromulent sentence.

Actually, that's not the only mistake in that sentence: "YOUR mom let me in ON her way out."

Yeah, but it's actually quite common for people to say that sentence. If it's part of a character's dialogue, then it's allowed, as that may be a habit of the character.

Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy, having contributed, however slightly, to the excellence that is this comic. :)

Perhaps it was a loose translation from Ursine language, or maybe Hungarian. Idiom, inflection, accent, dissertations on hovercraft and eels...

Uh oh... She doesn't have the fuzzy ears... She must not mean it! Oh noes!

Hmm... We don't see much of her sister, do we? I guess she isn't meant to be a core character... For now.

I visualise Nadette coming up to visit Atsali at school, Burdine tagging along, Schuyler sees Berdine...

I assume "Burdine" is a typo, but who is Schuyler?

I expect Skylar Faust, Atsali's future roommate.

Yeah. "Schuyler" is an existing name. "Skyler" sounds like "My-parents-thought-they-were-clever".

What is Nadette's twin's name?

Berdine.

And, from what we've been told, she's not shown any sign of being sexually interested in women (except when under a Siren's spell, of course). Whether this means she's Skylar-proof or not remains to be seen.

Back when they were on the island and Atsali asked about Berdine, Nadette (who should know) said Berdine was "straight as an arrow".

I remember distinctly, because my reaction, even on first reading, was "Yeah, but you* aren't!" *Nadette
