I think that's a better way to handle stress . . . one less likely to have unforeseen consequences.

Did anyone else check the tags? The butterfly/moth has a name, Reginald. Who wants to have a little wager on Reggie getting zapped into human form, or at least a form that can talk to Castela, in say 3 to 4 years?
I ride my bike to ride my bike, and sometimes it takes me where I need to go.

Celtic knotwork, real popular at renfests around these parts, and I assume elsewhere.AmriloJim wrote:http://wapsisquare.com/comic/blastin-sumthin/
Hmmm... does the pattern have a heritage of its own?

Dear, don’t bore him with trivia or burden him with your past mistakes. The happiest way to deal with a man is never to tell him anything he does not need to know. L. Long

Pickle is an ARTIST! I want to throw money her way now to encourage this most wonderfully constructive way to deal with stress.

I must admit, I did not notice that Paul actually had Reggie named for his first appearance, 2017-02-02.Opus the Poet wrote:Did anyone else check the tags? The butterfly/moth has a name, Reginald. Nobody ever suspects the butterfly.AmriloJim wrote:I must admit, I did not notice that Paul actually had Reggie named for his first appearance, 2017-02-02.Opus the Poet wrote:Did anyone else check the tags? The butterfly, in the canyon, with the... um... what weapon would a butterfly use to commit murder?Nobody ever expects the butterfly.
By the way, before Castela starts selling those on etsy, I think it might be fun to wave a geiger counter over one.

Uh oh.
I have a bad feeling about this.
I think Pablo is doing some subtle foreshadowing here. Ominous foreshadowing.
I think he's told us where Castela's future "issues" are going to be coming from.
Look at that pattern she's just made. Gaze into it as a symbol of her fate.
She's going to have a torrid romantic affair with a charming young para, with Asian features and an engaging Irish accent. He's a Celtic knotweed.
And they're nothing but trouble.

Or else Reginald's story will come to a tragic end when he meets Digit, and her instincts take over.Opus the Poet wrote:Did anyone else check the tags? The butterfly/moth has a name, Reginald. I suppose that the question now is whether or not he's actually a butterfly. Perhaps the Fae are still keeping an eye on Castela, but trying to do so in a way less likely to get their wings and heads ripped off? Or perhaps this is a butterfly who has been mutated due to all of the radiation unleashed in the canyon? Or maybe it's the Navajo Butterfly Boy, and he thinks Castela is cute?
