Ninjaed by 8 minutes.

I though Atsali was the one with abandonment issues.

That's interesting . . . :?

. . . :?

Given Castela's history of being wise beyond her years, I'm not going to discount her "weird feeling".

Maybe Castela should talk to Bud and/or Grandma Lily about this weird feeling.

She's just a little too young to realize that they can be one and the same. She's still tsundere from down under.

Remember 17-year-old Castela, who Paul said "...has issues"

Just in case you didn't know: "tsundere" and "under" don't rhyme.

If Ms Andersen is a faun (satyr? pan??) she may have a connection to the Fae. Might be why Pickle is having a 'weird feeling'? Either way, I agree that her hunch shouldn't be dismissed.

Could just be the eternal conflict between the flora and the fauna.

Wow... Giggling fuck-bunny... really.

We know Castela may have issues with her volume control... I have to wonder if Kath and Bryn heard that or if they're gone already for Breakfast?
You know that light at the end of the tunnel?

Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.

quite a lot of mom's would be quite happier in their lives, if they'd be more often giggling fuck-bunnies.

the way i see it, in quite a few families out there, sex is somewhat of a burden, in one or the other way, if it is not outright boring for at least one of the participants, sometimes i think for both of them.

giggly sex should happen more often, not sure how easy it is in a longer relationship with 2-3 kids etc.

Months ago, Castela didn't seem to have a problem with her mother looking sexy and possibly having sexy times. I wonder what changed? Since then, she's learned more about her and Atsali's early background, faced the immediate reality of her sister leaving home, and had some realisations about her relationships with her friends.

Or maybe nothing actually changed, and while she was originally okay with the idea of her mother having a good time, she's not so sanguine about the reality of it here and now.

Or is it something about the particulars of who Katherine has gotten involved with?

Maybe... but we really don't know what Castela's puberty and sexuality are going to be like. Remember, she's not human or close to it, physically and genetically. We know she's a hybrid of Blackthorn and other wise sentient plants, but I don't think we've ever heard whether she has any human (or mammal, or animal) DNA in her mix at all. Perhaps even the scientists who made her, didn't know what her transition to adulthood will be like.

So, like most tweens and teens, she's probably got all sorts of questions and concerns about sex... but as a plant, maybe she's looking for anthers in all the wrong places.

" maybe she's looking for anthers in all the wrong place"

That has to be one of the most apposite and erudite puns I have come across in a long time, I refuse to stem any feelings of awe but it just leafs me humbled at the fruits of such wit.

I think she's having a belated "parents don't have sex" response.

Seems to me she said she's got at least some animal heritage.

Seems to me that you may be right. I'd not be surprised if there was some Fae genetic material somewhere in her mix.
