Since Shelly is a Sphinx, and thus part cat, may I be forgiven for invoking a meme of cuteness for her by singing ♪ Memeories ♪...
... or would that just rumple and tease her?

How many eyes did Digit have before the transformation? Because that picture looks a lot like her face post-transformation.

It nice to see that Shelly does have a weakness.

Spider Eyes range up to eight depending on type, two might have been hidden by hair on the back of her head. More info here! Jumping spiders (Digit's likely type) have six.Gyrrakavian wrote:6 if memory serves.Opus the Poet wrote:How many eyes did Digit have before the transformation? There are many tales, in human mythology, about legendary heroes (and others) who were rewarded by the Gods upon their death by being promoted into the heavens, becoming stars or entire constellations.
Apparently it happens to spiders, as well.
Digit may have a new goal, to which she can aspire.

So, how much fan art is going to start showing up featuring Digit wearing odd things on her head?
Jumping spiders have eight, though one pair on some species may not be fully functional. They usually have four facing forward, two to the left, and two to the right. The ones on the sides are usually much smaller than the four on the front.Opus the Poet wrote:How many eyes did Digit have before the transformation? A great many types of spiders who live outdoors do that, but I suppose that most people don't find the other types to be quite so cute.Gyrrakavian wrote:I honestly hadn't seen the ones wrapped in a leaf until today.

And it makes them harder to see, which I suspect to be part of the point.Catawampus wrote:A great many types of spiders who live outdoors do that, but I suppose that most people don't find the other types to be quite so cute.Gyrrakavian wrote:I honestly hadn't seen the ones wrapped in a leaf until today.
