Plus, a lot of those who she did watch might have appeared human, but have been significantly different from humans in various important ways. Just because you've carefully watched how Bud pulls fresh pasta out of a pot of boiling water using her hands doesn't mean that the average human would want to try the same. And who knows just how Digit's workings might be different from a human's, even when transformed into externally human appearance? She might have to do certain things in human ways, other things in spidery ways, and perhaps some things in ways that are weird to both humans and spiders.
