I, for one, feel like we have missed out on so many storytelling opportunities, in regard to this mentorship, with all the time skips we have had...

I'm guessing this is all in keeping with the school requirement to keep a human form at all times, in the older classes. To be consistent, she would have to appear to grow to a certain degree. Notice she is still shorter than Monica, though, so she's still not very tall...

There's been a lot of missed opportunities really, both because of the time skips and because problems can get cleaned up so easily because of just how powerful the cast is.

An aside about that time skip business:

Atsali told Kath she was 15 when she met her back in 2013.

It's 2017. Do the math. Atsali should be 19 this year - not 18.
