What she going to throw up? Ectoplasm?
What happens in the lab needs to stay in the lab... because it's such a bloody drag to have to rebuild civilization all over again.

Love Bud's expression in the bottom panel.

And Shelly is definitely enjoying being The Only One Who Knows Anything At All for once.

She's spent too much time trusting her friends blindly in scary situations to not enjoy it when it's her trun to be The Mysterious One Who Knows.

Certainly takes stepping out to a whole nother level.
There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Hey you, you stole my post.

And I love Bud's "WTH?" expression in the last panel.

I told you guys it was being hung over! Shelly has seen this before! She is going to break for the bathroom! HA. Occam's Razor wins again.

Doubt she is dead, just feels like it. lol.

She rather looks quite proud of Monica, in a proprietory sort of way.

Plus a touch of the sort of cat-who-ate-the-canary smugness that Spock diagnosed as "I think you'll both be insufferably pleased with yourselves for at least a week! Sir."

That's not a pun. Unless we have a separate jar for Princess Bride references. Fine. How about this? She's not among the living, so she can't be killed, but neither is she dead.

Dead? Well.. not exactly, more like "not home", or a tad "out there".

Lóve the somewhat "motherly" look Shell gives "The M-Ghost" It shows that Shelly has, indeed, grown, and changed a lot, despite her return to "The Mop" (the hair-do I always preferred, together with the dread-lock-like-look when she was still with fermented banana)

OK, Shelly has had her training sessions with Phix.

Now it looks like it is Monica’s turn with Tina. I wonder if Nudge will sit in, she sure had an effect in Shelly’s training.
And what about the effect on her boy friend if he wakes up to that some morning?

I like Star Trek but today actually had me thinking more of Star Wars.
