Yeah, Bud - i'd say that last line is a good afterthought.

Kevin, you definitely don't want to go there . . .

. . .

The odder corners of the internet are . . . very very very odd.

And never never forget Rule 34.

Or Rule 35.

. . .

Philosophical question: if someone imagines something, and someone makes porn of it for the express purpose of fulfilling Rule 35, does it actually fulfill Rule 35?

And I'm sure Stinky has done tentacle pr0n . . . after all, I expect there's at least one kraken of the opposite sex in the world!

Yeah, but she calls him a leviathan, which I find odd. From the descriptions of the leviathan I read in the bible (Job, chapter 40 or 41), the Leviathan is a sort of aquatic reptile.

However, calling it a kraken is closer to correct, as the kraken is described as a type of cephalopod, like a squid or an octopus.

Also, when did they tell Kevin about the para-world? I don't remember it, but then, I think Monica would have told him a long time ago.

As long as I have read this strip, I NEVER thought of, or even CONSIDERED "Tentacle porn".
This strip has enough 'Naughty Bits" of its own rather than make up stuff that's not canon. I just enjoy what Pablo's mind creates.

Have you really never heard of tentacle porn until now?

You must be new to the internet.

It is only porn if it is somehow recorded... and I have not seen such evidence (nor do I want to)

I'd argue that . . . even a technical paper about their courtship habits could qualify. Ask Eurale . . . since she's a marine biologist, she should know if such exists.

BTW, the difficulty of defining pr0n is a major part of why it's so difficult to write pr0nography laws that will stand up in court.

Writing it down is recording it- and I doubt any creatures who witnessed the event were literate. Whether it would be considered 'technical' or 'erotic' is moot- it don't exist

Do you really think a marine biologist who can breathe water wouldn't observe something like that if at all possible?

I thought a kraken was a giant squid, the leviathan was a giant octopus? Neither of which do porn. not possible.

I thought it was serpentine with scutes on its back (said scutes are described as "shields").

EDIT: "This word has become synonymous with any large sea monster or creature." The big mecha lobster in Atlantis: the Lost Empire is called a leviathan.
Also, it pops up in multiple religions with the same/similar description.

Further EDIT: tired brain was jumbling languages and letter ussages again. If the letter j were a person, it'd have some sort of dissociative personality disorder.

Calm down bud... I was thinking his stammering was more due to not expecting to actually see a Kraken in real life... not that he thought anything untoward.

Give the poor boy a break... remember, he's only an enlightened human... enlightened because you played an evil trick on Monica and he had to be read in on the para world.
You know that light at the end of the tunnel?

"Evil" isdn't the word i'd use - "brutal" and "necessary", more like.

Bud has been watching Japanese hentai. I wonder what she makes of it.

It was artistic expression, not porn! :D

(Male octopuses transfer sperm to the female via a tentacle. Thus they avoid the fate of the Black Widow spider's mates. This may, in part, be how the idea of tentacle porn came about; that and the Japanese prohibition on showing genitalia, since tentacles look the part, but aren't, and therefore are excellent substitutes.)

QUACKquack quack quack . . .

(It if looks like a duck, acts like a duck and sounds like a duck . . .)

From what I understand, some squid use that method . . . others have penises.

And the first time we saw Stinky, s/he looked more like a squid. (Yes, Bud consistently uses he, but is she assuming, or does she know? If Stinky is of a species that uses specialized arms for transferring sperm-packets, Stinky's gender may be/should be obvious.)
