He's mister GlytchMeister, he's mister code
He's mister exploiter, he's mister ones and zeros
They call me GlytchMeister, whatever I touch
Starts to glitch in my clutch!
I'm too much!

This one is a keeper.

Ah yes, the old "When they make you happy, hug them into submission" trick.
Shelly IS 80,000+ years old, I'd point out; you'd think the Sage of the Forest would have a handle of questions about whether she's high maintenance or not by now.

Remember, though, that those 80k years in the Time Forest were in a context which involved no human or human-ish interpersonal relationships or interactions at all. During a lot of that time, she'd forgotten even the names of her friends.eee wrote:Ah yes, the old "When they make you happy, hug them into submission" trick.

The "new Shelly" has only a five-year history (in our beyond-the-fourth-wall timescale). And, she's been through quite a bit of new-stuff growing since then: revealing her identity and nature to Justin (and learning about his), learning the truth about her mother, learning that Phix is her grandmother, seeing her mother turned back into a child, winning acceptance as a Sphinx guardian... having the occasional luncheon date...
I think she's far from done, in learning who and what she really is, and how she actually relates to the people around her.
