Prob'ly pretty close to "right from the Jaguar's mouth".

Unfortunately, the Bergenholm, while it could completely neutralize inertial mass, never quite knew what to do with gravitational mass, which seems to come and go as the circumstances require.

Just a slight paraphrase, don't have time to look up the comic but it was about the time Dietzel was shrunk. :ugeek:

Yea that sure sounds like a direct quote

Pretty close to one, although the conversation actually took place in two parts, over two different counseling sessions.

Also, maybe, a touch of Shelly's insight with Heather after she got back from the Time Forest - about just getting older vs growing up.

Isn't anything said by a paranormal a paraphrase?

But perhaps Cricket did actually edit the lesson a tad, cutting out most of the extraneous cussing.

There is a great disturbance in the pun vault.

And speaking of Tiny Dietzel, I wonder if he has grown any?

Oh she didn't forget, she is a shapeshifter and just shifted it so it doesn't show. Probably still tender though.

And Cricket was repeating what she was told as best she remembered it. . .so there's that

And she learned a lot more than can be fit into one or two boxes in a comic--her adventure in the library did take more than a couple of strips to cover--so in a way it is condensed. Which raises the question, if everything a paranormal says is a paraphrase, when a paranormal condenses a thought/quote into a "paraphrase" is that a paraparaphrase?

Walks away pondering the meaning of the number 42 and tosses a couple of redundancy notices into the pun jar. . .
Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?

Where was there any unneeded words? She said exactly what was needed to say to relay the lesson :}

That would be a pair-o'-para-phrase, would it not?

The title of this strip should be

No, that would be when Atsali starts a sentence and Nadette finishes it.

No, that would be when Atsali starts a sentence and Nadette finishes it.
But if they did it while walking home from school, that would be a peripatetic pair-o'-para-phrase.

And if Nadette was getting her Seer mojo on while that was happening, it would be a prophetic peripatetic pair-o'-para-phrase.

And I will assuage the pun jar by offering it the Washington State Ferry facilities at Kingston and Clinton (both of which also happen to be towns in Minnesota) - a pair of docks.
