Well played, mom!

And if the Lil' Weed sticks that lower lip out a little further*, a bird will build a nest on it . . .

"Now you go tell your sister the truth, or I'll make you spend more time here, looking at my creepy spider eyes."

Of all the characters in the Wapsiverse who might have an issue with creepy eyes, I suspect that Pickle would be, well, not one of them. Kath has nothing on Castela in the creepy-eye department.

Fortunately, Pickle knows that she has to anther to her mother.

Dave, I think there's a Pun Vault that wants to talk to you (we have been putting so much antique electronics inside it, it has become sentient). :o :ugeek:

Well, you know what you find under a bird's nest . . .

If you don't know, any swallow's nest will show you.

*Drops a bag of bird feed in the pun jar*

Bird's nest soup. (I believe it is actually made using the saliva stickum swallows use to stick their nests to cliffsides.)

============

No, actually, i see that the nests themselves are made of saliva, and it's swiftlets" (which are small birds that resemble swallows.)

It's not a true reluctant child's apology without a bit of saucy attitude. :P Kath may have used the Mom Stare to get Castela to acknowledge that she'd done wrong, but she can't change the little stinkweed's opinion of Atsali's show. :lol:

Oh, yeah.

Maggie's only two years older than Natalie (and turned ten yesterday, BTW - Natalie's coming up on eight in a day or two), not ten years older as Atsali is with Castela, but they do have certain ... opinions ... about what each other like to do.

He talks to it every day. He actually punned his way into the vault, and is rather comfortable living there, from how he describes it...

He also mentioned it having some very punny ideas about us.

That's what passes for contrition in a 6 year-old.
