At least we haven't gone the Shakira "Hips Don't Lie" route - yet.

Shouldn't that be brains?
You know that light at the end of the tunnel?

Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.

Time to take a cue from Mathnet, and play "What Do We Know?"
We know Leggy is not a literalized Nether Region, and neither is she the fear of not reading faces. She is very intelligent, and actually quite expressive. Atsali's getting quite good at communication with her, no?
We know that last time we saw one of Dev's Shadow Games, when it's multiple people, each person will perceive it differently within the same environment.
We know from Cricket's reaction, and sage advice, she has some experience with it. Stemming from her own Glamour abuse, maybe?
We know Atsali is a good-hearted person, so she should be fairly safe. She just needs to apologize for snowballing Devyn's little get-together.

I've been trying to figure out a way of describing Atsali's conversational style at times like this. The best I've come up with is a pinball machine. The topic bounces back and forth between points of brilliance, total irrelevance, complete silliness, Zen wisdom, and ponies. The machine is located on a boat on a storm-tossed ocean, the gravity is variable, the ball is a Superball with jumping-bean ancestry, and the player has had a truly excessive number of iced double mochas.

I'd say it's more like Irish Coffees . . . or maybe Creme de Meth(amphetamine) . . .

Am I the odd one for noticing Atsali just engaged in a full-on grab-ass? That can't be...

Maybe Atsali will learn to read non-facial clues.

One apparently needs arms to wield a clue-by-4.

I see legs and a certain little dog commiserating.

Really? Pray tell, what ELSE is there to grab? Seriously...

I've met people like her... she's so intelligent she is STUPID!!! Somehow her common sense got side-railed by her attention deficit disorder... "LOOK OUT PEOPLE, HERE COMES THE HIGH-IQ EXPRESS- DON'T KNOW WHERE WE'RE GOING, BUT NO SENSE IN BEING LATE!!!"

Gotta cut her some slack... 'Sali doesn't have the full Berlitz body-speak course in front of her, just the traveler's "handy phrase" pamphlet.

"This comic is very very strange. No wonder you like it."

I recently introduced a friend to wapsi square. Guess who caught up over the weekend?

I'm feeling increasingly sorry for 'Legs'. She / they / it is trying to deal with someone who is very intelligent and very thick at the same time, and the problems of communicating non-verbally made even worse because Atsali keeps going off on her own tangents.
