In the last panel, it looks as if The Two Unwise Ones are staring at a patch of blackness on the wall. Devyn's imaging?

If they do wake up from this, I suspect they're going to have the mother of all psychological hangovers.

On the other hand, if they're the socially-dominant trendsetters that their smirks and taunting suggested, maybe they'll start a new fad. Corpse-like skin mottling may turn out to be the fashion statement of the year at Gryphon High!

She "Shadow Gamed" them! If you ever read the Yu Gi Oh! manga before it got all about the card game, you know that there were a lot of games played. And if an opponent was extra bad, Yugi's other half would play a "Shadow Game." During which, he'd declare a "Penalty" for the loser. Some were very much like what happened to the girls.

That would be intensely anticlimactic and not cool at all.

Closer inspection: the two of them are still "there" in the hallway in panel one. Devyn's looking at them with a blank look on her face.

Almost like, "I know what you're looking at right now, and I don't feel a bit sorry for you."
