but don't forget, that's calculating from his OLD location... in his NEW location he may not be in the same time zone anymore and if that's the case, then you will be wrong if he uploads it at a different time than he did before.

(Pained Expression)

Two things wrong with that:

1. Iowa is the same time zone as Minnesota.
2. He stated on the Facebook already that he probably won't get net access not involving wi-fi or data usage until Wednesday.

I hadn't seen that. I was going by the Castela Moving Page.

And there are public libraries, internet cafes and McDonalds.

...And this was his official word on FB (7/16):
Sorry to anyone sending me messages, or trying to contact me through Ebay. I won't have internet until July 22nd and I can't access most things with my crappy phone. Ebay items won will be delayed until then. :(

While uncomfortable, it would be a cool party trick to open your mouth and have those old school dialup screeching noises come out.

Had a customer in the cab last month who had a simulated Hayes 1200-baud handshaking sequence as his ringtone. I was fairly sure he had no idea of its original use.

Makes me want to use this as my ringtone instead of this, although I'm pretty sure no one would get the reference...

And I paid a bunch of money to get a U.S. Robotics 2400 baud modem to upgrade from my Hayes Micromodem 300. Made a world of difference, too!

Then came 14.4, and then....

"Hi, Dily!"

Then again the, what, two-weeks-and-a-bit of non-Wapsiness we're currently in is nothing yet compared to the droughts you have/had to go through as a reader of Subnormality (often months, although another comic is incoming; Patr(e)ons already got to read it...) and Sunstone (also months, but mainly because the artists health took a sharp nosedive after him being massivley overworked and ignoring his thyroid condition; he's got better again, though...).

OMG I read Sunstone too...I LOVE that comic. I have the first two books even though I've read it all online... Sometimes its hard waiting for the updates for the ones you really love...

Same here... :D

If you haven't you might want to listen to this podcast with Stjepan Sejic which is hilarious (actually I'm just listening to it), and probably this followup one from just two days ago which is equally hilarious...

(Also, their review of Sunstone is a lot of fun, too.)

I looked at both of his pages, and saw last post on WS page as July 09. If you don't have to be logged in, why does that message not show up?
