Heh... Jessie is now giving Atsali the look

Everyone stop assuming and huddle up to clear the air!!!

Also: Panel two... should probably read: "I don't think she needs paras..."
You know that light at the end of the tunnel?

Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.

I'm just happy that Atsali and Jesse have gotten close enough that Jesse can give her that look.

Wants/needs, whatever she meant to say panel two is missing a word. Panel 1, deadly noodle incident?

Jessie- Drag her by the ear over to the other freshmen and they will sort it out- friendship demands it

Panel One begs further inquiry.

Panel Two needs more text.

Frame 2 can haz too many coherent sentences- had to sacrifice one for the greater good.
But Tina's crew still can haz badonka-donk.

SQUEEE friendship is magic! And it's Poseidon's fault! (Shadow said so.)

..Oh, wait- you said "demands"..
Sorry, y'all. Got a bit squirrely for a sec there.
Y'know, I've got a nice, concise, little avatar pic that I've been using for ten damned years, and this is the first place I've ever tried to use it that said it was too big.
Screw it- I'm stayin' generic.

I'm not gonna archive-dive for it right now, but I could swear we've seen Dietzel giving Monica pretty much that same look from time to time...

Well, at least Atsali isn't second-guessing the other girls' motives.

Meanthewhiles, what sort of silliness is Castela up to?

Might be one of those rare times when she is chlorophyll-ing (ref: Sargasso Sea...), and hence 'off line'.
Still, I'd like to see some more shenanigans...

I said it before and I will say it again, I love where Paul is going with this and I love what he is doing with Jessie.

And Devyn's dialog now makes a whole lot more sense since the edit.

And what part of "we will never speak of this again," involved speaking about it again.
The oh so typical situation when one never wishes to never speak of, remember, or make reference to either something really bad or really embarrassing. One just hopes that was embarrassing more than deadly. Cause killing everyone in a ten block area as an "accident" is kinda up there. Even for a young powerful paranormal. On the order of "good thing you're on the earth side of the Library cause otherwise you may not be getting back through any time soon."

The expression on Jessies face reminds me of the one on the girls that M was trying to convince she was not powerful and not immortal and just before they kill her. As for the accident, whats a few thousand people between friends.

Jessie is now thinking longingly of that classic bit of movie business:

SLAP!

"Thanks - I needed that."

From somewhere Sci-Fi I remember some uber beings, mother and daughter, trying to explain themselves to lesser beings, which, of course, leads to tales of days gone by:
  • M: When you were young, you moved that planet out of orbit!

    D: I put it back.

    M: In another system!

D: I had to -- their sun was going to nova!

M: And you think they didn't notice?

D: That was 18,000 years ago. I think they've gotten over it by now.
Don't let other peoples limitations become your constraints!

Hindered only by the thought that the Golem Girls don't need to breathe and not being certain as to whether or not she can reach the pool before Monica or Shelley can nab her.

Given Monica and Shelly's attitudes toward "tough love", i think she'd be okay.
