Crow T. Robot - Joel, could a werewolf eat a whole person?
Joel - Well, if he didn't fill up on breadsticks first.
Okay. Spit coffee at that one! Where's it from? Oh, and glad you're back, I thought maybe something had happened to you.
Thank you for the welcome.
Joel Hodgson and Crow T. Robot are from Mystery Science Theater 3000 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mystery_Sc ... eater_3000, the greatest teevee show ever. Until we get a Wapsi series...
And several things did happen to me, most of the frustrating, but some good things too. It feels good to be back...

Pretty sure that's from Mystery Science Theater 3000. GREAT quote. :!:

Indeed. It's good to see the old give-and-take-and-speculate crowd coming together again. :)

Ah, a day late and a dollar short. Again.

Finding that Apple Jack has the accent that I was after, after creating Euryale, I had to throw that in there. ;)

I am totally confused... I thought that it was Nudge who got eaten. She "nudged" the wrong being at the wrong time and got eaten for her troubles... So whom DID Phix eat?

Movie credits would list the meal as "Idiot Female Sphinx #1". In short, an extra introduced solely to be killed and eaten.

It's plain to me that when you are dealing with shapeshifters what you see is definitely not all you get.
Phix's ability to consume a creature her own size simply means she can pack it away "elsewhere" just as when she packs away her excess size and mass when she assumes human form.
She didn't seem to be at all deterred from tackling such a big meal, so I think we can safely assume she can put the carcass to good use, probably horns and all.

Yep, it was a female sphinx that Phix killed.

So perhaps you can answer the other questions that have bothered all around here on the past two threads..... where does she put all that meat inside her..... and what does a sphinx taste like? (ok, so perhaps that last one isn't in the mind of many, but still, people want to know :) )

and could M poit someone's heart to the center of the sun? if she can poit bras, what about internal organs?...... yes a bit gorish, but hey, you started it! :D

While Monica's reaction is expected, it's what her first sentence after all this will be the most telling. "If you can keep your head about you while all others are losing theirs, you didn't receive the Memo yet."

Sphinx probably tastes like cat. Never eaten one. Ask someone from China and related countries.

As for a litter box - remember, they're desert animals. They have BIG sandboxes.
I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

A few tangentially-relevant quotes from out of the depths of time:

"Just one little scream. I must have my scream!" (Emperor Cartagia, Babylon 5)

"That's some esophagus!" (Frog, Spirited Away)

"A lot of singers think all they have to do is exercise their tonsils to get ahead. They refuse to look for new ideas and new outlets, so they fall by the wayside... I'm going to try to find out the new ideas before the others do." (Emma Fitzgerald)

"Holy molars! Am I ever glad I take good care of my teeth!" (Robin)

"True. You owe your life to dental hygiene." (Batman)

but if they have eagle wings.... wouldn't they also taste a bit like chicken? and if they have human torsos, then the flavor would also be similar to pork.... sooooo...... Cat, Chicken, Pork taste? but on this poor idiot's case, no wings, but goat horns... so Cat, Lamb (goat), Pork?

hmmmm...... now I could have a sandwich or something.... getting hungry here....
