Yes the site has been wonky all night.
Atsali and Nadette may actually be better off on their own than with those other two dingbats.

I'm done thinking for today! It's caused me enough trouble!

Hmmm, what was Thymbris putting in her mouth? Maybe a tooth knocked loose when she first met Atsali?

Forums and the site have been wonky for the last 24 hours now. Dunno if it's a DDoS or what.

Are we looking at romantic love or hero worship?
P.S. The site is working fine now.

Phrases that should terrify:
From a 2nd Lieutenant: "In my experience..."
From a teenage para: "I'm gonna put my book smarts to work!"
Accent-wise, is Atsali channeling Euryale?

For what it's worth, she did share minds with an entire civilization a while back, so maybe she's sorted out the good stuff to the top of the stack. Or, at least what she thinks is the good stuff!

I had some hope for Sali when she recognized the danger and problems that this adventure was shaping up like the previous one. Sadly the thought passed through her head and exited in a hurry. It didn't even stay long enough to sign the guest book.
In the Army we used to say the second most dangerous thing was a 2nd Lt with a jeep and a driver. The most danger was a 1st Lt with a map and compass. Hello Sali.
1. They have not been given their problem. They jumped into the middle and grabbed hold of a mission. They don't even know if it is the right mission.
2. Using book learning is good but you have to have the experience to apply it correctly and someone to tell you when you've taken a wrong turn. If you don't it is an excellent opportunity to walk off the cliff.
3. Nadette is the voice of reason. Sadly no one is listening. Even worse Nadette is letting her infatuation with Sali affect her judgement.
4. They have violated a major rule in adventures. Yo don't split up the group without a darn good reason and you know that the ones sent will make it back in time safely.
5. Can they really trust the doofus twins to make it back? In one piece? With the things they need? Before the entire thing is completed? Somehow I doubt it. Of course this now being a YA adventure strip they will appear at exactly the right time, with the tools needed, the extra information Sali needs, and pull Sali and Nadette out of a tight spot. Predictable isn't it.

Ambush questions are fun. Watching the mental impact of them as they distort, or crumble, opinions based on faulty logic.

I still expect the area to have large mica deposits with underground water running through it. Making it another of the locations where the spirits of the dead can talk to the living world. I suspect Thymbris was able to travel to the location from Hades using that path. We do know she went to this place directly from work in Hades so she probably took a short cut.

All this, and the situation has yet to go wonky.

Oh, boy... compared to Thymbris, Tsillah is the sensible and collected and responsible one?!?
Their family life at home must be quite something to observe... from a safe distance.
I wonder if there's a paranormal equivalent to Child Protective Services? Maybe MIB? It would explain why Thymbris says she's been on so many missions for MIB... they wanted to get her the heck out of the house, so that a sensible nanny could bring some order to the chaos and serve as a good role model for Tsillah.

I'm thinking it might be a little of a little from column A and a dab from column B for Nadette. I have Chrome OS and the site(s) were giving me all kinds of error messages last night, so Yes it might have been a DDoS attack.

Well, this is a woman who dropped her first-born into a lava flow for a bath.
