From her reaction she was running almost entirely on automatic there. She had no idea what she was doing at all, just acting without thought.

Going from that snort, "Take that for daring to try and sneak up on me!!!",

To "OMG What did I just do???" Then seeing what she did and thinking,

"OMG I did that??? I killed it!?!?! Oh crap I better get the others to take a look cause I don't want to touch it!"

Not the behavior of someone who used to combat.

Now for the big question. Did the dead skeleton die?

Nope. The star descending in panel four implies that the skull is still with us, though probably wishing that it was dead.

Nice cliff hanger, even if the skull is hanging from the ceiling instead of a cliff. vOv

I like that "SNORT!" after she's done and just before she changes back. I think we might be dealing with a fugue state when she's in combat. She doesn't come "back to herself" until all threats are eliminated.

We've been looking for some genetic contribution from daddy, and I think we've just witnessed a hint.

I like her super-girly reaction in the last panel.

Elongated ears, enhanced speed, enhanced precision, yep warbird is a warrior for sure. I suggest no surprise parties in her future. I also don't see any boys taking advantage of her or at lest not an live to tell about it.

Hmmm. Moving forward a bit from that one, i hit this one. We've been speculating about the age of a certain doofus - unless she was lying to Shelly and Justin, she IS younger than the others...

She did. She is the younger sister of Nudge and was around while Nudge was still being given baths by her mother. THe comments between them after Monica threw Nudge in the lava clearly show They did grow up together, or I think they show that. lol.

I can almost imagine Atsali hopping from foot to foot, fretting over what she's just done...

Of course, I imagine the other ghouls or whatever that thing was are prolly looking up at him now saying: "You had one job...."
You know that light at the end of the tunnel?

Yeah... it's a bullet. Sorry.
