Yeah, it's not like she's going to watch the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead.

Abrupt scene change, dead ahead!

Meanwhile, I don't know what's worse: getting ninja'd on posting the thread by a minute, like today, or by mere seconds, like what happened two days ago, where three threads were created, all within the same minute...

Oh, and um... Link to the comic...

Well, I wouldn't quite go that far...

As far as I can remember, the agreed-upon convention was to not bother including the link to the comic, but I don't recall it being expressly forbidden, either. And it's not like any and all links are forbidden, so why not include a link to the comic, for the sake of convenience? It will help those whose browser had not been able to catch the new comic yet, for the first few X minutes after it's posted, and it will help forum archive trawlers to go directly to the right comic, without having to look it up in the comic archive page first, should they choose to see what the thread is about.

It would be weird if it wasn't permitted, since you are allowed to link to any other strip in the archive. Specifically forbidding linking a thread to the comic it is about would be heinously asinine. :|

I wonder - has Tina ever been really sick before since her rebirth?

I never considered the fact that Tina was able to get the Flu, Break her arm - while parallell parking (I still haven't figured that one) - yes but common sickness? Never.

Inactivity is driving her crazy? Then the strip title should be "One Flu over the coo coo's nest."

Nothing we've seen or read indicates Tina cannot get sick. Now we do know, yes she can. But then people like her are flu and far between.

Drops a bottle of NyQuil into the Jar for Tina.

Awwwww Poor Tina... she looks absolutely miserable...

I thought it was Kath at first because of the eyes... but then the second panel set me straight...

Gawd... she looks awful. I think this is the first time we've ever seen her looking like a semi-animated corpse, when she wasn't actually trying to look like a semi-animated corpse.

Biologically it makes sense that she could get That Damned Bug. I wonder, though, why her coven hasn't simply decided to "vacate the house" for the duration, and leave the body to just suffer-while-idling-in-the-barn.

They are something she consciously does to make herself presentable and she just isn't bothering right now.

Yep, it's mutated slightly this year, the shot is only effective against the older strain of the virus. We have a lot of people in Dallas getting the flu even after getting this year's shot.
