If either or both of them looks over and asks plaintively "Are you my mum?", I'm outa here!

Assuming that they don't, it will be interesting to see what symbolic role they play in the workings of Calista's Id! I presume the cage symbolizes being "locked up" in the high-rise penthouse... these two are maybe the Authorities who threaten to cage her?

Wow... Cricket has some skeeeery demons..

I suspect they are the ghosts of fae past... trapping young blackthorns and trying to gas the shit out of her, hence the protie masks... And Cricket gets to face them...

Hmmm.. Interesting. It's dripping with symbolism in Cricket's mind.

On the left we have a kind of dessecated corpse, or very dirty thing with a missing inner, closed away from the world by the gasmask. On the right we have some sort of artificial construct, álso closed off by a gas mask.

None too worried about those. It's that cage in the middle, thát's where the real trouble lies, me thinks. Point is, it's empty.

Did something get out? Or is it about to lock someone/something in?
