I think we know who hurt Castela.... a Fae...

My thoughts as well, there must have been a fae that seriously hurt Castela either physically or emotionally.

Indeed. Looks like we're about to be "treated" to a quick glimpse at Castela's past; maybe even her origins.

Oh wow...
Where did Pickle get that from?
I thought, thanks to Disney, kids liked Faries.
(Of course WE know they're dicks.)

Did fairies orphanize her or something?

Whether it was a Fae that hurt her or maybe "created" her, the scary thing here is that she is immune to Fae. This is bringing me back to the beach party and G'ma Lilly's statment about her grandcritter.

For some reason I get the feeling Castela doesn't like Cricket.

Castela refers to Cricket as "it", not "she".

Looks as if Pickle regards fae about the way Tanta Phix feels about vampires.

HOLY STOMPIN' FRIJOLES!! Rein this kid in before they have to use a microscope to find all of her fragments. Even the Snots are afraid of the little atomic bomb. Either, as has been mentioned, they have met her before or they know Fae by reputation and are rightly sore afae'd of this sore Fae. Poor Calista though. Ya gotta feel for her in this situation. That's gotta hurt, even if she will come out of it OK. She may have mastered the glamor thing at 5 but I'll bet it wasn't while being repeatedly squished. Hard to up-size under that type of distraction. It would be funny though it she was getting one word out between stomps,

Hey! *STOMP*
You! *STOMP*
Kid! *STOMP*
Stop! *STOMP*
Or ...! *STOMP* *STOMP* *STOMP*

One was just hit by the thought that Castela's original foot placement might have been intentional...

Also one notes that, unlike earlier times of strong emotion, she appears to be, if anything, becoming MORE solidly organised, instead of unraveling.

Rule of Funny aside, it takes a LOT to kill a Fae. Not they they enjoy being mashed, just that they bounce back eventually.

As for Castella having issues with Fae in general, well, she was in an orphanage for a reason...

Last we saw Cricket she had little trucks spinning around her head... like, ryder delivery trucks or something... Tomorrow, Calista graduates to full size tandem diesel rigs...

Calista: Did someone get the number of that truck?

Jessi: Eight

Krystal: Nine I think, they were sipping around your head pretty fast.

Several possibilities:
  1. Atsali channels her inner Mom "Castel Enora! Be Still!"
  2. A teacher steps in (Mrs. Rabbit maybe?http://wapsisquare.com/comic/the-secret-2/). Everyone to the Principle's Office to sort it out!
(Time for all the back stories)
  3. Both of the above.

I'd say the real acid test for Calista is about to start.
Either she comes up fighting and loses big time to the forces arrayed against her, or she gathers her wits, her dignity, and her responsibility as royalty long enough to apologize to the little Whatsit for whatever offense her people may have inflicted on an innocent.
Even the epic fail could be instructive for her.

I believe Castella is now unavoidably going on the dean's list and Mom is going to be called in to the office. Good luck being the moderator/witnesess Atsali and crew.
