Actually Saturdays makes sense. Calista needs to learn how to behave outside of school too.

And those words would probably boost Atsali in Calista’s eyes, but Atsali would find herself in a ‘big sister’ role with Calista wanting Atsali’s pre-approval of any behavior as a way to preempt any bug swatting. Lots of unwanted responsibility for Atsali. So yah, REALLY go downhill (for Atsali).

Gods can change their minds, especially when musing in comments. But there's word of Nadette, which seems more reliable, and in-panel.


Speaking of which, a flashback is a clever way to reestablish trust in the reader when deluged with illusionists. Doesn't provide immunity to gaslighting, but that's general authorial privilege.

Detect Fear ought to pierce most illusion and misdirection too, come to think of it.
