Stheno looks like she's the one who enjoys turning people to stone.

Yeah... umm... I'm not sure whether I would be scared or excited to see those three headed my way. Image

Probably depends on how sober they are.

Had to 'Google' to find out Whos-who. Seems Stheno would be the Toughest what with cobras for hair, I'm guessing. Medusa and Monica might get along as they were both.... um....'victimized' (according to what I read on Wiki) and they could help be there for each other. We have got to get these girls to join the beach party.

well it looks like they have gone overboard with the make up!!! :o

Have you seen'snog marry avoid' that shows girls that think they are 'hot' in all that make up, but really most just want to avoid them!! the show helps them get back to natural, and prove that men would then actually marry them!!! :P

At first I thought about the song "Sisters. Then I thought:

Serpents ... (serpents)
Serpents ... (serpents)
There were never such devoted serpents.
...
...
If you ever try to split us up, a mistake you'd make ...
Zeus help the serpent who comes between me and my Gorgon ...
And Zeus help the Gorgon who comes between me and my snake ...

Snakey luv!

Hm. Medusa would appear to be on the short side. Stheno might be as tall as Euryale if she stood legs together. And while Euryale and Medusa have almost identical grins except for the tooth gap, Stheno must take after the other parent.

Since we've got this picture, I think there's not much doubt the other two Gorgon sisters will show up eventually. Hope Stheno doesn't live up to her reputation as the kill crazy one of the bunch.

Well, it's already established they knew how to make Gorgon selfies...

As Jin's arc demonstrates, looks are deceiving. I like to think Stheno just prefers to take her job very seriously. After all, that's supposedly what got her sister in trouble.

On the other hand, the silence about Stheno since suggests that the most devoted guardian may have been the easiest to make take a fall...

Let's get the complete set together and have a three-on-three volleyball game with the GGGs!

Only if Bud is sober.

Forgetting her strength and spiking the ball all-out into someone's face on the other side could be pretty ... impressive.

Discussion aside - Do so hope that the illness passes you soon Mr. P - can't wait to get back to the island - Castilia and the others. oh well - we'll just have to take whatever is offered.

Ditto and agreed... with an "... and be glad for it!" added!

If what you're facing is an allergy, might I offer a partial remedy I learned of some years ago? Nettle leaves. They're available in dried form, in gel capsules, at any halfway-decent health food or nutritional-supplement store. Two capsules, every four hours, give me a lot of relief from spring pollen allergies. They don't make you sleepy like antihistamines, they don't make you jumpy like a lot of decongestants do, they just seem to reduce or eliminate the stuffed sinuses, nose-drip, and so forth.

Fresh nettle leaves (carefully picked so they don't sting, then washed and blanched) have been a favorite spring vegetable ("pot-herb") for centuries. I have no idea whether a nice hot bowl of Nässelsoppa would have the same allergy-fighting benefit as taking the dried leaves, but it sounds tasty enough that I might have to try to source the fresh herb and try it out someday.

Oddly enough, nettle leaves contain histamine... but they act rather like an antihistamine when eaten. Go figure...

Oh, man, if it's allergies, Pablo... we're in for a long summer.

The Polar Vortex that we got hit with is likely going to cause an unusual heavy pollen and allergy season.

This drawing reminded me that I found a picture of Euryale on Deviantart that might be of interest to the readers. An advantage of using established mythology is that other folks have visited the same source and have their own works.
