CALLED IT.
jwhouk wrote: I think, from how Monica responded when Phix arrived, that she's letting the "big guns" handle this, and not getting in the way. She knows Phix, Shelly and company have "issues" with Bia (understatement, I know), and figures they wouldn't like Tina being used as a pawn.

I still say it'd be funny if Tina was a "second cousin" of Shelly (or Monica!) through Bia.

... as the entire gang breaks into a chorus of "All In The Family" ...

Yeah, meddling with other peoples' lives and destinies is just bred and butter for Bia.

Wapsi Square, where nothing is certain because it's all relative.

O knew the Greek gods and goddesses were pretty randy and random, but Bia may take the blue ribbon.

Hmmm - that makes Tina and Shelly second cousins once removed, i think.

This also explains why Phix hinted that she was "partially responsible for what she (Tina) had become."

Phix, however, isn't invulnerable here on the island, though. Mom's got the upper hand.

"Someone perceived as an adult"? This could get interesting. Connie is among the oldest people there, but physically resembles a pre-pubescent female, could she send Bia home? And why or why not?

I think that has been established as Charon.

Pallas, apparently.

EDIT:

Nope.

From WIkipedia:
Pallas (Πάλλας) is a Titan, killed by Athena in the contest to fight for Zeus. Most sources indicate that he was the son of Crius and Eurybia, the brother of Astraeus and Perses, and the husband of Styx. He was the father of Zelus, Nike, Kratos, and Bia

That would be (EDIT) Pallas. Her mom is Styx, which means she's related to Nudge and Tsillah.

It IS all relative.

EDIT: Okay, why does it say Zeus is her dad in her WP entry?

The mythology references say that she's the daughter of Pallas, a giant warrior-Titan (possibly the very Titanic personification of warcraft). Her mother was Styx.

I don't recall him being mentioned in Wapsi until now.

Unless Pallas is just another name for our friend Kukulcan?

Again, nope - see above.

Styx is her mother, though.

Tsillah's father is Charon - we haven't yet been told if Tsillah and Nudge are full- or half-siblings, or, if the second case, on which side.

I wonder if Bia-influence accounts at all for the (reported) fact that Tina's father was a drug-lord. It does seem that many of those who flourish in the upper levels of the drug trade have no problems at all about being willing to use Force, and seem rather unconcerned with anyone's interests other than their own.

If her dad was raised by (or spent much time with) his Titanic grandma, he might have picked up some... well, let's just say "insensitive" attitudes?

Hmmm. I thought Kulkulcan was at least tentatively established as one of the Lanthian "immortals". There was at least an implication that he was among the ones that Jin was successfully giving the run-around: she'd used her knowledge of the CM time loops to convince the immortals that she was actually a time traveller.

I could well be wrong, though... he might be a Titan, "undercover" in the role of a Lanthian. But, we've never seen him behaving in a warrior-like fashion as far as I can recall.
jwhouk wrote:EDIT: Okay, why does it say Zeus is her dad in her WP entry?
I'd say whomever edited that page, didn't read the Theoi entry to which it links.

Bia was one of Zeus's "enforcers" - a Titan who went over to the side of the gods during the war for Olympus, and was rewarded by Zeus for doing so. He apparently trusts her, and she serves him. But, the deeper references don't seem to back up the Wikipedia statement that she's his daughter.

I'm getting the feeling that Tina 1.0 was not a very nice woman. Imagine Shelly early on without any sensitivity.
