Well, that's something you don't see everyday. A tentacle in a coffee shop. I'm sure sales will perk right up. 8-)

Is Tina, for the lack of a better term, "losing her cohesiveness"?

This would be an idea job for someone who knows how to keep a herd of demonic beings together. You know, something like a sheep farmer. What do they call them, again? I can't seem to recall... ;)

Well, occasionally at that one Starbucks right across from Joe Louis Arena.

So she did stay in the tub for a while?

edit: Also, Atsali, this isn't a Japanese cartoon so don't mind the tentacle.

The tentacle-demon's reaction (hey, do we know what her name actually is?) makes perfect sense.

After all, large birds do eat large seafood creatures, from time to time.

(Points awarded to those who suggested that Tina's condition might be causing her to affect the emotional stability of those around her. Demonic power-of-suggestion seems to be tricksy stuff!)

And much is now a little clearer anyway... Tenty did stay at home... and Tina was almost assuredly affecting Monica and Atsali's perceptions...

Now... How the hell did Tenty get to the shop without being reported as the beast from 20,000 fathoms?

See! There was something else at play. I wonder if it takes all of them together which makes sense. As a team everyone needs to work together. If one is missing the team function goes wrong. I was right!!!!!

Is "Tenty" the matured version of Tina 1.0's demon, "Greed"?

The sewers. After the bath it felt drained. So it came to work. I could add it is now feeling flushed with satisfaction but I won't.

Demons are apparently capable of playing quantum-mechanical tricks, such as being in two places at once regardless of how far apart those places are (per Shelly's comment to Conscience, and I think some discussions Monica had with demons earlier on). So, Tenty could have possibly have "tunneled" directly from Tina's apartment to Mucho Mocha, without ever occupying any of the locations in between.

As things are, I rather expect that Tina's various demons are "entangled" with one another (in the quantum sense)... which would lead to all sorts of interesting effects.

Okay.

Laughed out loud at the last panel.

A slapstick version of Tina and Bud's first meeting...

The simple answer most people seem to be overlooking is that demons can't be seen by most people.

Quite so. And even if the wandering demon IS seen, the observer mentally refuses to acknowledge it's something out of the ordinary. People see/hear/etc only what they WANT to, particularly in the WapsiVerse.

That said, I'll quote Wyvern for truth:

If this were Looney Tunes, the Jaguar would be chasing the Siren who would be chasing the Tentacle. Paul has enough backgrounds to keep them in constant rotation as they run.

As a side note, Atsali has a clear view of the rest of Tentacle. This poor girl has seen too much.
