You know in the Wapsiverse Santa is a real entity.
I ride my bike to ride my bike, and sometimes it takes me where I need to go.

I wonder what sorts of presents Castela might have asked Santa to drop off in her comfy new Gilchrist home? Are visions of sugarplums dancing in her head, or does she prefer some different sort of treat?

I didn't even see the title before realizing she had fallen asleep waiting for Santa. What kind of paranormal is known to have the type of time manipulation powers necessary for the world wide delivery of presents?

That is so wonderful! I thought Castela might have disguised herself as some garland on the tree so she could see Santa!
Miracle-Gro and potting soil for her pot she got at the mall?Dave wrote:I wonder what sorts of presents Castela might have asked Santa to drop off in her comfy new Gilchrist home? Are visions of sugarplums dancing in her head, or does she prefer some different sort of treat?

Look at many of the Greek Gods and Titans for the answer.shadowinthelight wrote:I didn't even see the title before realizing she had fallen asleep waiting for Santa. What kind of paranormal is known to have the type of time manipulation powers necessary for the world wide delivery of presents?

I thought of Chronos but his conflation with Cronus in Class of the Titans killed that idea for me.

In my 65 years in the mythical realm of Reallife, I have never seen any proof that there is no Santa Claus.NOTDilbert wrote:Whataya mean, "In the Wapsiverse"....?

Agreed! You could use it for a Wapsi Square Christmas card.Dave wrote:(Love the artwork today... that's a really rich image!)
We've still got tomorrow, potentially. *fingers crossed*jayessell wrote:I was hoping to see Atsali as the Christmas Angel.

I'm hoping for a scene of the new family on Christmas morning opening presents, and if anyone's going to be dressed as Santa, I'm guessing Bud. Anyone else and you risk the costume not being G rated.

ps: local time, Santa hit this area about 55 minutes ago.
I hope my sister managed to warn him in time - her two kids set up a ipod to try and record Santa this time.

Okay, I'm gonna play Grinch here: what's that bag-looking thing next to the plate of cookies (that appears to be on the floor)?

I would think she'd hide as one of those woven stick wreaths.... But if Santa knows when you've been sleeping, and knows when you're awake, knows when you've been bad or good, I'm sure he could figure out if Castela is a wreath for Pete's sake.JSStryker wrote:That is so wonderful! I'm guessing that's The 'P' in Paul's signature.jwhouk wrote:Okay, I'm gonna play Grinch here: what's that bag-looking thing next to the plate of cookies (that appears to be on the floor)?

Correct guess. Paul has the original black and white pen-and-marker sketch up for auction on eBay now, and his signature is quite clear in that version. It's obscured by the window structure in the final colorized image.GuySmiley wrote:I'm guessing that's The 'P' in Paul's signature.jwhouk wrote:Okay, I'm gonna play Grinch here: what's that bag-looking thing next to the plate of cookies (that appears to be on the floor)?
